MontcoWorks NOW serves at-risk youth and young adults who reside in Montgomery County, are between the ages of 14-24, and are presented with a significant barrier to completing or advancing in education or obtaining employment.

MONTCO RISE

Montco RISE is a year round internship program through the MCIU for rising seniors through college seniors. The MCIU provides selected applicants with a 6 to 8 week internship experience in their interested field. Applications for Montco RISE are sent to school districts and local colleges in February and August for the Summer and Fall sessions!

Montco Manufacturing

 

The Montco Manufactring program is a registered Pre-Apprenticeship program through the MCIU and Stein Seal.  The Montco Manufacturing program looks to offer training through the Tooling U program and with on site training at Stein Seal. 

In 2024, we successfully had 3 graduates be hired for full time positions at Stein Seal!!

Council membership is for district appointed professional staff who are leading efforts for Act 339 planning and developing programming for college and career readiness efforts at all grade levels.
